Warrant for the arrest of George Brown per Maria Soames, 5th February 1869.
Warrant for the arrest of Thomas Wilson identical with George Brown per Maria Soames, 18th June 1869. Five blue dots on the back of his left hand indicated his previous association with a gang known as the Forty Thieves.
George Brown as Thomas Wilson was photographed on discharge from the Hobart Gaol by contract photographer Thomas J. Nevin, 11 February, 1874.
